A NEW WEEK IS UPON US....

A new week has sprung! For the next four days, I will be writing a series of blogs based on my upcoming email course; My Happiness: the Essential, that is coming Soon!

This is a sneak preview, so to speak. But, back to today, the now. The first on the series: WHAT IS HAPPINESS?

My Happiness: The Essential Series

Happiness is a state of well-being and contentment. It is often associated with positive emotions, such as love, gratitude, and hope.

There are many different things that can contribute to happiness, such as:

  • Strong relationships with family and friends

  • Good health

  • Meaningful work

  • Financial security

  • A sense of purpose in life

  • Positive attitude

  • Gratitude

Happiness is not something that happens to us. We create it for ourselves. As the saying goes "Happiness is a state of Mind" By focusing on the positive aspects of our lives and taking steps to improve our well-being, we can increase our happiness.

Here are some additional tips for increasing your happiness:

Spend time with loved ones.

Strong relationships are one of the most important sources of happiness.

Get regular exercise.

Exercise releases endorphins, which have mood-boosting effects.

Eat a healthy diet.

Eating healthy foods gives you the energy you need to feel your best.

Get enough sleep.

When you're well-rested, you're better able to cope with stress and handle challenges.

Set goals and work towards them.

Set goals that are challenging but achievable, and break them down into smaller steps so you can track your progress.

Practice gratitude.

Taking the time to appreciate the good things in your life can help you focus on the positive and boost your happiness. Make a habit of writing down or saying out loud three things you're grateful for each day.

Be mindful of your thoughts and emotions.

When you notice negative thoughts or emotions, challenge them and try to replace them with more positive ones.

Help others.

Helping others is a great way to feel good about yourself and make a difference in the world. Find a cause that you're passionate about and volunteer your time or donate money.

Do things that you enjoy.

Make time for activities that you enjoy and that make you feel happy. This could include spending time with loved ones, pursuing hobbies, or simply relaxing.

Live in the present moment.

One of the best ways to increase happiness is to focus on the present moment and appreciate the here and now.

Try to avoid dwelling on the past or worrying about the future.

Happiness is a journey, not a destination. It is something that we work towards every day.
